DocuWare (Newburgh, NY), a provider of integrated document management software, has certified its latest generation, Version 5, with the Kodak (Rochester, NY) Scan Station 100.

The KODAK Scan Station 100 integrates with a DocuWare installation, turning paper documents into digital files. Digital files can be scanned in color, BandW, or grayscale and simultaneously shared via e-mail, stored on the network, saved on portable USB drives, or sent to networked printers and copiers. They can also be sent to a network folder that DocuWare monitors to automatically deliver scanned images to a virtual "in basket" on a desktop for further processing. Kodak Scan Station digital images can also provide a fully searchable PDF for filing in DocuWare.

The Scan Station connects to existing network infrastructure and features intuitive and interactive operation — including image preview of scanned images prior to sharing — from a full-color touch screen.

With DocuWare's ability to manage all types of document, regardless of format or source, one search will bring all the records delivered on your desktop. Digital files are accessible worldwide with secure authorized access.
