Eurocom Corporation, manufacturer of high-performance, supercomputer-class laptops today is announcing details and availability for the new 9th Gen Intel Core i9-9900KS Special Edition processor. Eurocom takes graphics processing unit, CPU and user-upgradeable, fully-customizable, supercomputer-class mobile workstations to the next level with the Intel i9-9900KS Special Limited Edition desktop processor, Eurocom reports.

With its 16MB of Intel Smart Cache and Intel Turbo Boost 2.0 technology, the Intel i9-9900KS Special Limited Edition pushes the maximum per-core frequency up to rapid speeds of 5.0 GHz. Combined with 16-way multitasking support powered by eight cores via Intel Hyper-Threading Technology, the Intel i9-9900KS Special Limited Edition can help users handle demanding workloads and access new levels of performance.

EUROCOM Sky X4C Overview

Eurocom offers the X4C as part of the Sky “C” Series Mobile Supercomputers, featuring MXM 3.1 NVIDIA graphics cards (up to RTX 2080), powered by Intel 9th Generation i9 9900KS processors (8 cores/16 threads), supporting up to 128 GB of DDR4 RAM, up to 20 TB of total storage space via four total drive slots (2x M.2 NVMe & 2 x2.5 inch SATA 3) capable of multiple RAID configurations (RAID 0/1/5/10).

The Sky X4C’s motherboard uses the Intel Z370 (Coffee Lake) chipset and LGA 1151 socket technology, which provides desktop-level customizability, upgradability and performance while being enclosed within a portable laptop form factor. This laptop is made for supporting workloads that require high-performance computing without compromising the ability to manage tasks and run critical applications on the go, the company says. Eurocom gives the option to choose an unlocked BIOS and/or a delidded CPU in the system for those users who seek the highest level of system optimization and control.

The Eurocom Sky X4C supports a complete selection of GPU options across multiple generations of NVIDIA graphics cards ranging from GTX 10-series GPUs and RTX 20-series GPU’s. These GPUs are designed to give users the exact professional graphics performance level for their needs.

A wide selection of stunning 15.6-inch LCD display options are available from a Full-HD 60hz 1920x1080 display, up to an Ultra-HD 60hz 3840x2160 4K display capable of covering 100% of the Adobe sRGB colour space. NVIDIA G-Sync is available in several LCD displays to help reduce screen-tearing.
