Infolytica Corporation has released the latest version of its MagNet for SolidWorks platform. MagNet enables users to simulate and analyze any electromagnetic device within the SolidWorks environment. This release includes improvements to the interface, post-processing and overall speed.

The user interface for both material modeling and post-processing has enhancements. These include the ability to more easily set the direction of magnetization and material type for electromagnetic analysis. Additionally, users can set their desired point of origin in the model for reference when viewing data from a completed simulation.

For speed, improvements have been made for shorter model setup, visualizations, transparency modeling and loading large data sets. Also updated is the efficiency of the accurate static, AC and transient 3D electromagnetic field simulations within SolidWorks.

“We are committed to our clients and delivering the design and analysis solutions they need” said Chad Ghalamzan, marketing manager for Infolytica Corporation. “That’s why we offer free trial evaluations of our software to anyone interested in seeing the full set of features and results that MagNet for SolidWorks has to offer them.”
