Level 3 Inspection LLC, a provider of Computer Aided Inspection and 3D scanning dimensional layouts, is now including digitizing clients' components anywhere in North America. This service has been developed to allow clients to ship larger files in a safer manner.

According to a company press release, Level 3 Inspection has developed a mobile 3D scanning system that is capable of digitizing any object to an accuracy of .oo1" or better. The scan creates a SmartScan file, which is then processed at the company headquarters for whatever a client's needs may be.

“Many of our clients were hesitant to ship large or heavy objects to our world-class 3D scanning laboratory in Florida, and didn’t need the +/- 2 micron accuracy we can achieve there,” explained Bill Greene, CEO. “So we brought our advanced capabilities to their facilities to meet their needs. Clients are very happy with this service, and highly impressed with the results generated for their projects.”
