Mocana and Sensors.com have partnered to help companies deliver secure, connected products for the Internet of Things (IoT). This collaboration, a company press release states, combines Mocana's security code and Sensor's Silicon-to-Cloud connectivity platform for greater security.

The Silicon-to-Cloud platform allows users to add:

  • WiOS, a secured wired and wireless connectivity operating system
  • A device management and monitoring/control cloud component
  • A mobile app software development kit
In combination with Mocana's offerings, the new platform lets users address security in their products at every level — device, cloud and mobile apps.

“We see a lot of demand for simple, secure cloud connectivity from our customers. As soon as Mocana delivers its device and system level security (Security of Things Platform), the next question in our customers minds is how to manage these products securely that go out into the field,” said Peter Graham, vice president and general manager, Mocana. “Sensors.com is an innovative player who is helping their customers add cloud connectivity quickly, simply and securely which helps their customers generate new revenue and reduce Operational Expenditure (OpEx) in a short period of time.”
