nCode 11.1 Released

By DE Editors

October 5, 2015

HBM nCode, a developer of durability, test and analysis software, has updated its nCode suite. Version 11.1 has improvements for overall functionality and performance. The update focuses on three main areas: frequency domain, advanced data cleaning and DesignLife processes.

For frequency domain, users can now perform diagnostics of faults in rotating machinery. Version 11.1 has the new Hilbert transform glyph to calculate amplitude envelope and instantaneous frequency. Zoom transform is also now available to increase the frequency resolution over a specified frequency band.

Added Kalman Filter and Wavelet Denoising glyphs offer advanced data cleaning options. These glyphs help reduce noise content and provide a better data estimate.

For a more streamlined DesignLife experience, HBM nCode has added standard processes to decrease errors and increase time savings.

nCode 11.1 focuses on improved performance and new capabilities for vibration excitation and data cleansing” says Paul Roberts, product manager at HBM nCode. “The updates in nCode 11.1 will allow nCode users to perform more robust and accurate testing and analysis.”
