Onshape has launched the Beta version of its flagship CAD program. The application is a full-cloud 3D platform that enables users to work with teams via a Web browser, phone or tablet.  The company has also unveiled Onshape Mobile, a full-function professional 3D CAD system for mobile devices.

Features of the program include sharing of public and private documents, part and assembly modeling, data management as well as import and export capabilities. It is also not connected to a specific operating system or licensing structure.

For sharing capabilities, users have permissions-based access control, simultaneous editing, collaboration with any file format, branched editing and merging and screen sharing.

The company, according to its blog, is offering three options for pricing: Professional, Free and Enterprise.

With the Free Plan, designers can create and access unlimited public CAD data. Pricing for the Professional Plan starts at $100/month and has unlimited use of all Onshape CAD and data management tools.
