August 17, 2015

OriginLab, a provider of data analysis and graphing software, will start offering an OriginPro Coursework Package to students and instructors this coming academic semester. The license is available to undergraduate or graduate students enrolled in a class or as a one-year license for instructors.

OriginLab created this version, a company press release states, to address the need for engineers trained with immersive, preparatory research. In addition to the licensing, the program also offers technical support and course material creation for instructors.

“We are pleased to debut our offer of OriginPro to the next generation of scientists and engineers through the unique OriginPro Coursework Package during the ACS (American Chemical Society) National Meeting and Exposition. By familiarizing students with data analysis and graphing in the classroom, academic institutions are ensuring that students are well-equipped to direct their own scientific research projects throughout their academic and eventual professional careers. OriginLab is committed to assisting science and engineering students in achieving their fullest potential,” says Dr. C.P. Yang, founder and CEO of OriginLab.
