Mydea Technologies (Orlando, FL) can help companies in all aspects ofproduct development including RP (rapid prototyping), design, 3Dmodeling, engineering, reverse engineering, and rapid tooling andmanufacture. Mydea enhanced its rapid prototyping technology servicesby acquiring an InVision SR 3D Printer, a higher-resolutionthree-dimensional printer manufactured by 3D Systems (Rock Hill, SC).

The InVision SR 3D Printer enables Mydea to provide highly detailedprototypes made with acrylic photopolymer, according Mydea's, presidentand chief executive officer, Michael Siemer. "We can substantiallyexpand our current capabilities and represent a savings in cost andtime for our clients. This new machine will allow us to provide partswith excellent resolution and surface finish."

In addition to creating complex parts easily and quickly, MydeaTechnologies will now be able to produce patterns directly for castingand molding projects, another service offered. This new technology alsolends itself to creating direct tools for molding purposes.

With the InVision SR Mydea Technologies will be able to turn your 3DCAD files into prototypes as quickly as the following day. The InVisionSR joins other forms of rapid prototyping services including SLA(stereolithography), FDM (fused deposition modeling), SLS (selectivelaser sintering), MJM (multi-jet modeling), and 3DP (three-dimensionalprinting).

The I.Q. instant quote system complements Mydea's rapid-prototypingservices. I.Q. pricing includes shipping, and it enables you to changeyour prototyping options based on quality of printout, speed ofdelivery, and cost requirements.
