Scale MP, a provider of virtualization solutions, announced a partnership with Boston Limited, a manufacturer of high performance, low-power server, storage and clustered solutions.

According to a company press release, the Boston xScaler-vSMP products can deliver up to 8.5 TB RAM. This is the largest memory footprint for an AMD Opteron computing solution.

“We are very excited to be able to offer a very high memory appliance at a low cost. We know there are many customers who require a number of terabytes of memory in an affordable package. By partnering with ScaleMP, we are able to respond to our customer needs,” stated David Power, director of HPC at Boston Ltd.
