Paradigm Imaging Group (Costa Mesa, CA) has announced a distribution agreement with Graphtec America Inc. (Santa Ana, CA) for the new SignJet Pro JS300-18ES InkJet Printer.

According to a press release, the JS300 features easy loading drop-onmedia support rollers, so media rolls do not need a core support rod.Media can be changed by lifting it off the rollers. The auto feeder andfront take-up roller provides even media tensioning. The media heaterand dryer system aids in ink adhesion and drying time. 

Graphtec SignJet Product Manager, Charlie Yang, said, "The JS300-18ES72-inch wide production printer is one of the fastest in its class withprint speeds from 113 square feet (High Quality) to 296 square feet(Draft mode) per hour. With 8 Xaar Heads (2 x CMYK) and single orbi-directional and multi-pass printing modes, the JS300 output can beoptimized depending on the media type or quality desired. OurEco-Friendly, low solvent inks, provide excellent fade and scratchresistance with outdoor durability up to 3 years. The JS300 is perfectfor large outdoor text and graphics, full color banners, vehicle wraps,printable vinyl graphics, POP Displays, promotional posters, and floorgraphics."

The JS300 is compatible with a variety of sheet and roll media (up to50 yards long) including indoor banner, vinyl, window film, polyester,outdoor banner, vehicle wraps, and poster sheets. The JS300 connectsvia a high-speed USB 2.0 interface for maximum data throughput from thehost computer. A basic RIP software package is included, with fullsupport from all of the popular RIP applications.
