Stratasys (Eden Prairie, MN) opened its new global headquarters in Eden Prairie with a ribbon-cutting ceremony and reception. The event featured speeches from Eden Prairie Mayor Phil Young and Stratasys CEO Scott Crump. For those unable to attend in person, Stratasys prepared a 3D rendering of its new headquarters, placed in context with the surrounding city using Google Earth. The new 86,000-square-foot facility is expected to accommodate the company’s current and future growth. Stratasys passed $100 million in annual revenue in 1996.
The new headquarters building houses the company’s general business functions, including sales, marketing, product development, and research and development. Two nearby buildings house the company's RedEye RPM and manufacturing operations. The three buildings provide a combined total of 183,610 square feet.Sources: Press materials received from the company and additional information gleaned from the company's website.
