Through its new agreement, the company will offer FAC members preferential termson all Theorem ( Staffordshire, UK; www.theorem.co.uk) products and  services; enabling them to take advantage of product data translationbetween different CAD formats, says Theorem.

FAC Executive Director, Ross Bradley has formed a 'virtual aerospace company'from the FAC's expanding membership - as a means of increasing market share forUK contractors.  His industry experience confirms that the ability to accept andprocess CAD data in a trading partner's ideal format is an important prerequisiteto winning business from international aerospace OEMs.

Bradley sees effective CAD data exchange as a key enabler, allowing FAC membersto compete in the global aerospace arena, regardless of the origin of the CADdata they might need to work with.

Commenting on the new agreement between Theorem and FAC, Keith Jeacock, GeneralManager of Theorem's UK operations, said:  "We are delighted to support FAC'sstrategy for UK growth.  Our products are already widely used throughout the aerospaceindustry and our offer perfectly matches the consortium's needs.   For memberswishing to translate CAD models on a day-to-day basis, we can supply and installsoftware at their premises.

"Where there is a less frequent CAD translation requirement, members can takeadvantage of our on-line translation service at http://www.cadverter.com/.  This not only relieves them of the task of carrying out the translation themselves, but also provides the most economical method of employing Theorem translatorson an occasional basis."
