Advanced Design Technology (ADT), a provider of turbomachinery design methods, has released version 5.2.5. of its TURBOdesign Suite. The software is a aerodynamic and hydrodynamic 3D design software package that enables users to create and analyze all types of turbomachinery.

The latest release has extended meanline design capabilities to include centrifugal fans and mixed-flow pump states. The preliminary design cycle functionality has been improved for all components; users can now instantly evaluate the trade-offs between stage performances and packaging volumes.

Version 5.2.5 also has parametric studies, capabilities for high-performance computing and streamlined workflows.

"This latest release of TURBOdesign Suite builds on the strong fundaments of advanced 3D inverse design approach to extend and complement requirements of our large turbomachinery manufacturers client base" says Mehrdad Zangeneh, founder and managing director at ADT. “TURBOdesign Suite v5.2.5 introduces some of the most advanced blade design and optimization capabilities in the market to assist manufacturers with developing the next generation of turbomachinery components.”
