Visual Technology Services has introduced its updated PDF3D Version 2.3.0 platform. The new version contains more than 79 enhancements and corrections, enabling faster decision making, lowering project costs through improved team collaboration.

Updates include a major upgrade to the PDF3DReportGen application; ParaView 3.12.0, the latest version PDF3D plug-in for directly publishing PDFs with animated data visualizations; the ability to generate automated structured measurement PMI annotation by selecting a simple enable option; and an easy-to-define Units specification to show the dimension unit context in Adobe Reader by defining units in XML or SDK.

In addition, the solution includes a Geospatial Grid IsoContours display for more precise indication of 3D elevation levels,  new Keyframe animation movement interpolation modes, improved property/value metadata reporting, and new Colored Point clouds with RH Compression Encoding for reviewing raw, unstructured scanner data.
