COE to host fall workshops

COE, the independent organization for users of Dassault Systemes'family of products, is putting on its annual pair of targeted workshopsfor users in the aerospace and automotive industries next month fall.These two-day workshops offer extensive industry-focused education andtraining sessions. Sessions are interactive, hands-on, and focusedentirely on toward industry needs. Additionally, the conferences offerterrific networking opportunities.

The COE 2005 automotive workshop—to be held in Dearborn, Michigan,October 10-11. This event will feature industry experts addressing suchtopics as Implementing PLM, using CATIA V5 for system design, breakingthe wall between engineering and manufacturing, best practices, and newcar design benchmarks for the new century.

The COE 2005 aerospace workshop takes place a week later—October17-18, in Wichita, Kansas. Featured topics include how Dassaults'solutions and future product plans impact the aerospace industry,ENOVIA tips and tricks, feature-based data exchange between CADsystems, integrating the supply chain, and DELMIA V5 VNC.

COE is made up of more than 50,000 users in 400 member companiesworldwide, representing such industries as aerospace, automotive,consumer goods, shipbuilding, industrial machinery, electronics, andplant design. It strives provide a collaborative forum that drivesinnovation and maximizes productivity by bringing together users ofCATIA, ENOVIA, DELMIA, SMARTEAM, and other products and services fromDassault, IBM, and their partners. Each spring, COE also holds itsannual PLM Conference and TechniFair.
