3D Systems Corporation (Rock Hill, SC), a provider of 3D printing, rapid prototyping and manufacturing solutions, will unveil VisiJet EX 200 Plastic for 3D Printing at EuroMold 2008 in Frankfurt, Germany.

VisiJet EX 200 Plastic is specially formulated for improved toughness to expand 3D Printing into more demanding form, fit, and function applications. The company plans to commercialize this new, higher strength material in the first quarter of 2009.

3D Systems’ systems and materials reduce the time and cost of designing products and facilitate direct and indirect manufacturing by creating actual parts directly from digital input. These solutions are used for design communication and prototyping well as for production of functional end-use parts.
