Measurement Computing (Norton, MA) offers two modules, t he WEB-TC, which is a USB-based temperature measurement device that provides 8 thermocouple temperature inputs, and the WEB-TEMP, a Web-enabled temperature measurement device that provides 8 temperature inputs.

The WEB-TC ($599), a web-enabled 8-channel thermocouple input module that writes temperature data to its own Web page, has its own built-in Web server, which allows the user to monitor the temperature on a browser from anywhere in the world, via the internet. It offers accurate temperature measurement, since the internal measurement electronics accuracy exceeds the accuracy specifications of the temperature sensors.

Combine WEB-TC with the company's DAQ software for a complete data acquisition solution. Further details are available at WEB-TC.

The WEB-TEMP is a web-enabled 8-channel temperature measurement module that supports 4 sensor types, and it also writes temperature data to its own Web page. Priced at $699, the WEB-TEMP supports all of the common sensors types — thermocouples, RTDs, thermistors, and semiconductor temperature sensors. With its built-in Web server, users can monitor the temperature on a browser from anywhere in the world, via the internet. It provides temperature measurement flexibility as each channel can monitor any of the supported input types. This allows you to mix and match the sensor to measurement without needing additional signal conditioning.

WEB-TEMP also combines well with the company's DAQ software.
