To increase simulation acceleration for antenna modeling design systems.

Acceleware Corp. (Munich, Germany), a developer of high performance computing (HPC) solutions, announced a partnership agreement in which Agilent Technologies (Santa Clara, CA) will resell Acceleware acceleration products to Agilent’s customers in Antenna Modeling Design System (AMDS).

By combining the technologies of the two companies, Agilent’s electronic design automation (EDA) software for high-frequency system, circuit, and modeling applications, with Acceleware’s electromagnetic solver technology, speeds of simulation processing will increase by more than 35 times for AMDS customers, states the press release. This will ultimately reduce the time required to run a typical simulation from 10 hours to under 20 minutes.
