Agilent Technologies Inc. (Santa Clara, CA) announced the availability of GoldenGate Plus for RFIC simulation, analysis, and verification, a product line that speeds the design of large-scale RFICs for wireless communication products.
GoldenGate Plus combines the high-capacity GoldenGate simulator, acquired from Xpedion in 2006, with a customizable data display, electromagnetic (EM) simulation, and system-level design and simulation.
The algorithms of the GoldenGate simulator, which is integrated into the Cadence Analog Design Environment, are optimized to meet the demands of large and complex RFIC design, and enable characterization of complete transceivers prior to tape-out. The simulator ensures device manufacturability and reduces design spins.
GoldenGate Plus, a family of products with configurations that can be customized, includes RF Design Environment (RFDE), an Advanced Design System RF and microwave-circuit and system-design software, a 3D planar EM simulator, and a system-level simulation-and-design solution based on a hybrid of synchronous and timed synchronous dataflow technologies, and more.
Agilent’s GoldenGate Plus comes in four configurations, with prices starting at approximately $42,000. For more information, go to Agilent Technologies Inc.’s GoldenGate Plus website.
