America Makes plans to host its 13th Annual Members Meeting & Exchange (MMX), August 5-6, in Canfield, OH, at Waypoint 4180.
The event will feature 2 days of innovation and insights as leaders from government, industry, and academia convene to impact the future of additive manufacturing (AM). At MMX, organizers promise strategic conversations and visionary thinking focused on accelerating AM innovation, strengthening defense readiness, and driving large-scale productivity.
Attendees will experience an agenda packed with content, including keynote addresses from Bill Murray, co-founder and chief engineer at Ursa Major, and Matthew Sermon, direct reporting program manager for the Maritime Industrial Base.
Other industry presentations will feature Keith DeVries of the Department of Defense Manufacturing Technology Program; Regina Sims of the Defense SBIR/STTR Program Office; Devin L. Cate of the Air Force for Logistics and at the Office of the Assistant Secretary of the Air Force for Acquisition, Technology, and Logistics; Kelley Rogers, of the Office of Advaced Manufacturing at the National Institute of Standards and Technology; James Warren at the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA); Travis DeMeester from the Defense Innovation Unit (DIU); and Mark Morrissette from Stifel Financial.
Industry experts from Eaton, ExxonMobil, and Siemens Energy will provide insights into how AM is impacting their sectors.
America Makes leadership will also take the stage to share pdates on technology development, workforce growth, and strategies to expand the U.S. industrial base.

America Makes will announce the newest recipients of the Distinguished Collaborator and Ambassador awards, which recognize individuals who have demonstrated dedication to advancing America Makes.
MMX attendees will be the first to hear about a new project call and participate in its kickoff webinar and Q&A session.
