The Guy E. Bourdeau Scholarship will be awarded to one college student of any major that can demonstrate how additive manufacturing can be integrated into their field.
The Randy Stevens Scholarship is for educators that focus on additive manufacturing within their curriculum. The ideal applicant also inspires others to pursue 3D additive manufacturing in education and professional endeavors, the organization states.
“The AMUG Conference is a unique experience where information is freely exchanged to promote education, training and knowledge that helps individuals get the most from additive manufacturing," said Mark Barfoot, president, AMUG. "Through these scholarships, we can offer that experience to a student and an educator that might otherwise be unable to attend. These scholarships embody Guy’s and Randy’s spirit and passion for additive manufacturing, and they continue the legacy of two giving gentlemen.”
Applications are being accepted through February 27th. The scholarships will pay for travel, lodging, meals and conference registration fees.
