BEAMIT sets up a collaboration with coating services provider Praxair Surface Technologies to better serve the aviation industry.
BEAMIT specializes in the manufacturing of aviation components through additive manufacturing. Praxair Surface Technologies specializes in advanced coating solutions, as well as specialized materials and equipment, resulting in improved component performance and extended life. Together, they can offer an extended range of services to the aeronautical sector, the companies say.
“In PST we found a very good partner capable to provide us with leading expertise in surface treatments for aerospace applications, as well as world-leading special processes know-how,” says Gabriele Rizzi, BEAMIT chief commercial officer. “Our partnership will definitely benefit both current and future ADS OEM’s customers going forward.”
