BigLever Software, a provider of product line engineering (PLE) software, is providing PLE capabilities for the U.S. Army's Consolidated Product Line Management (CPM) Program. Under this contract, the team will develop and manage the Live Training Transformation (LT2) product line for combat training.

This product line implements tools from BigLever since it has rapid deployment of new variations, refinements and enhancements for changing missions, the company states. This CPM Next contract, according to a press release, will help the Army continue to reduce costs and complexity with maintaining its diverse portfolio.

"The General Dynamics team continues to demonstrate outstanding industry leadership by leveraging and driving the latest advances in product line engineering,” said Charles Krueger, BigLever Software CEO. "Together, we bring new levels of innovation and efficiency to one of the most important investments that the Army makes – training soldiers. The CPM Next contract award is a testament to the success of this collaboration.”
