Bluebeam Software (Pasadena, CA) has released Bluebeam PDF Revu 4.7 for sharing, collaborating, and reviewing documents. Bluebeam users can create PDF files from CAD and Windows applications and view, markup and edit PDF files.

With this release, Bluebeam will begin its renaming of its entire portfolio of desktop products under the brand Bluebeam PDF Revu.

The company offers three editions of Bluebeam PDF Revu: Standard Edition for MS Office, general CAD, and Tablet PC users; AutoCAD Edition for users of Autodesk AutoCAD products; and a SolidWorks Edition.

In addition to PDF viewing, markup, and editing features, Bluebeam also installs buttons in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, and SolidWorks for one-button PDF creation, batch, and advanced file conversion options.

Bluebeam PDF Revu replaces Pushbutton Plus and Bluebeam Lite, however Bluebeam will continue to support all legacy versions.
