Bunkspeed (Los Angeles, CA), developer of 3Drendering technology for design, engineering, and marketing, announced thatTesla Motors is using HyperShot and HyperDrive for the creation of all launchimagery of their all-new Tesla Roadster Sports Edition. This vehicle is beinglaunched this month at NAIAS 2009 in Detroit (January11-25).

When TeslaMotors secured a booth at this year’s Detroit auto show, the company decided tolaunch its new

roadster in an all-virtual launch of the car, which will becomeavailable in the spring of 2009. Considering the short amount of time to preparefor the event, the design and marketing team at Tesla Motors was looking for aquick and efficient way to create photographic images of the highest qualityfrom their 3D digital data — which is why it says it selected Bunkspeed’sHyperDrive and HyperShot.
