Bunkspeed , Inc. (  Los Angeles ,  CA ) announced that HyperShot , its 3D rendering application, is now available on the Mac OS X operating system, largely in response to photographers and computer graphic artists, who tend to use Mac over PC. Plus,  hyperShot allows easy transfer of PC files to Mac and vice versa, avoiding tedious file reformatting.

hyperShot’seasy to use, affordable rendering application that produces professional-level results, allows paints and materials to be instantly applied to 3D models generated in popular CAD applications, and lets their reflections be viewed under real life lighting conditions. The photographic realism achieved can eliminate the need for the physical object or rendering imagery, states the press release.

While hyperShot works beautifully on even just a basic MacBook , performance ramps up when used on one of today’s multiprocessor Macs.

More details on hyperShot for Mac OS X are available from Bunkspeed .
