CadFaster, Inc. has announced the availability of its CadFaster|Collaborate software tool for architecture, engineering and construction (AEC), mechanical and plant design firms. CadFaster|Collaborate allows up to 10 people to distribute, annotate, and co-view diverse 3D designs in real-time using portable executable files.

CadFaster|Collaborate for Autodesk Revit and Cadfaster|Collaborate for SolidWorks can now be purchased and downloaded through two authorized resellers: Novedge.com in the U.S., Jigsaw in the UK, or directly from CadFaster’s online store for European customers. The price for a one year, one user subscription is US $799, UK £499 and EU €599.

CadFaster|Collaborate will be released for ArchiCAD and Bentley Architecture in the second quarter of 2011 and other CAD platforms within the next 12 months. Already demonstrated on both the iPad and iPhone, CadFaster|Collaborate for iOS is coming soon, according to the company.
