Cambashi and intrinSIM have launched an investment firm for investors in engineering software companies. Consultation is open investors, private equity firms and VCs looking to improve investment in the software market.

Cambashi is a provider of comprehensive, independent and quantitative market data. intrinSIM offers engineering application expertise as well as business management expertise. This program, according to the companies, covers a variety of services to ensure a varied portfolio of investment activities.

”While the $20bn+ engineering software market offers great opportunities for investors, identifying and analyzing those opportunities requires a high level of rigor. It’s a very complex market and evaluating investment opportunities is a multi-dimensional task, requiring many perspectives. Our work with investors helps them to take a comprehensive view. Along with the analysis of a target’s financial position and quality of the leadership team, we look at a company’s technology in the context of market trends and competitor capabilities, as well as a host of other factors including market size, penetration and growth outlook for each of the industries and regions that it addresses; channels to market; pricing and licensing models. Our partnership with intrinSIM further increases our ability to provide the investment community and software engineering companies valuable data and knowledge to increase their market share,” says Tony Christian, director at Cambashi.
