Ellison Technologies Inc, a large CNC machine tool integrators in the U.S., has acquired GSC, a software solutions, additive manufacturing and engineering services company. The official agreement was signed on December 15, 2021.
The acquisition of GSC fits into Ellison Technologies’ growth strategy and mission to equip manufacturers to compete locally and globally. By purchasing GSC, there will be immediate opportunities for growth beyond current GSC territory, and opportunities to market software and additive solutions across the U.S. long term.

GSC will continue to operate as a stand-alone company, focused on the same product portfolio that they represent, which includes: SOLIDWORKS 3D CAD and its product suite of modeling software, along with 3D printing provider Markforged.

With 15 locations the company provides local support across the U.S. In addition to distributing the latest CNC machine tool technology, Ellison’s team of over 300 industry experts provide its customers with engineering solutions, service and parts support, turnkey solutions, robotic automation and machine financing.
GSC provides comprehensive consulting, technical support and training in CAD and additive design. The company is a provider of SOLIDWORKS solutions and Markforged printing technologies. Founded in 1989, GSC is headquartered in Germantown WI.
