CCE's ODX/UG now supports NX 8. ODX/UG provides read/write access to native NX part and assembly files without requiring a license of NX CAD software. With this update, applications using ODX libraries can read NX 8 files and write files up to NX 7.

Besides providing advanced interoperability functionality, our focus has always been on constantly updating our technology with support for latest CAD versions," said Vinay Wagle, vice president of sales and marketing at CCE.

CCEs ODX (Open Data eXchange) Libraries are highly portable, object-oriented C++ APIs to help create interoperable applications. They could be used for enhancing the ability of an application to support multiple CAD formats, or to access CAD data and use it in any custom engineering application.
