Creaform Launches DA Software for 3D

Creaform (Levis, Canada) is launching the Handyscan Scanning Module (HSM), data acquisition (DA) software that integrates the process of scanning 3D objects with the Handyscan 3DT laser scanner into CATIA V5.

With the ability to scan directly into CATIA’s environment, the Handyscan 3DT laser scanner reduces development time for organizations using Dassault Systemes’ CATIA platform.

Creaform, which joined Dassault Systemes’ CAAV5 Software Partner program earlier this year,  developed and sells the Handyscan 3DT, a self-positioning handheld 3Dlaser scanner, which provides real-time 3D rendering visualization enabling generated files to be exported to most CAD platforms.

The HSMT (Handyscan Scanning Module) data acquisition software for CATIA V5 and the Handyscan 3DT laser scanner are available directly from Creaform’s worldwide sales network (http://www.handyscan3d.com).
