CTC Electronic Releases New FDM Printer

The updated system now has a touch screen and enhanced splicing software.

CTC Electronic has launched the CTC FDM (Fused Deposition Modeling) BIZER III 3D printer, a system that has performance and functionality to meet a variety of applications, the company states.

The printer is made of steel and sports a touchscreen LED interface. It can print with ABS (acrylonitrile butadiene styrene), PLA (polylactic acid), PC, rubber and wood. It has a maximum print size of 11 x 5.7 x 5.9 in. and is also equipped with a dual nozzle print head.

The company has also made improvements to the printer’s upper splicing software, improving its slice processing capability.

“CTC Electronic has massively improved the software and hardware of the open source technology used by MakerBot. The control software has been significantly transformed in CTC BIZER III. The highly user-friendly interactive interface has greatly lowered the bar for 3D printing operation.” said He Siyi, head of Public Relations at CTC Electronic.
