Dassault Systemes Introduces Aerospace Collaborative Hub

By DE Editors

Dassault Systemes (DS; Paris, France; 3ds.com) recently announced the availability of Aerospace Supplier Collaborative Hub (ASCH), a business process accelerator (BPA) for aerospace risk-sharing partners and suppliers who hold program design responsibilities.

The BPA is based on ENOVIA SmarTeam’s collaborative product data management platform and embedded within CATIA PLM Express. ASCH has mapped business processes, whereby designers can check compliance with industry standards throughout the supply chain.

“With tight program deadlines, designers must be able to launch the design process in a format that seamlessly communicates with OEMs’ systems and can pull down the right component information,” said DS’ Stephen Shibel, director of aerospace industry solutions. This avoids the possibility of designers using out-of-date parts and then having to rework designs.

The BPA is designed to help smaller businesses remain current, using a scaleable solution that communicates with more complex versions of CATIA and ENOVIA used by large OEMs.
