Delcam Designer from Delcam (Salt Lake City, UT), an add-on to ArtCAM, lets users work with any combination of 3D surfaces and/or solids, and add ArtCAM reliefs to create decorated pieces that would otherwise be very hard to model.

Delcam Designer offers a fully integrated surface, solid and relief modeling, and easy-to-use tools that give you the power to quickly construct 3D models with tools such as automated Smart Surfacer. An intelligent cursor can construct wireframe geometry quickly and easily. Its dynamic surface morphing enables you to bend, pull, twist, and sculpt your designs. It also includes ray-traced rendering for photorealistic images.

Delcam's patented Total Modeling technology enables you to work between ArtCAM and Delcam Designer and add reliefs to models, regardless of complexity.

ArtCAM will machine the finished model – giving you a full 3D surface and solid modeling solution coupled with a multilayered relief modeler and an automated manufacturing solution.
