Diamond Multimedia (Chatsworth, CA), a manufacturer of PC graphics cards, sound cards, and communications products, has shipped the first two models in its new BizView line of video cards. According to a press release, the lineup offers crisp image quality, low-heat output, and support for multiple digital LCD monitors.

The BizView BV200 and BV300 video cards each support two digital LCD monitors and are half the size of other video cards, fitting into both standard and low profile cases.  Both models have low-heat output and dual DVI and TV-Out support. The BV200 features 128MB DDR memory for PCI connection. The BV300 features 256MB GDDR2 memory for PCI Express connection as well as HDTV support. Diamond is also planning the launch of the dual link BV400 quad monitor solution as part of BizView line. All BizView products will feature a lifetime warranty.

Minimum system requirements for the BV200 are an Intel Pentium III, AMD Athlon or higher CPU running at a minimum of 450MHz or higher, one available PCI slot, 64MB system RAM, 90MB available hard disk space, a CD-ROM drive (DVD-ROM drive for DVD Playback), and a Super VGA or DVI-I compatible monitor. Minimum system requirements for the BV300 are an Intel Pentium 4 or AMD Athlon 64 FX running at a minimum of 420MHz or higher, one PCI Express X16 compliant slot, 512MB system RAM, 90MB available hard disk space, and a CD-ROM or DVD-ROM drive. Both the BV200 and BV300 will run under Windows 2000 or XP environments and support Windows Vista and Linux. Each product includes a DVI to VGA converter, S-Video cable, and a DMS-59 adapter.

Diamond claims a product return rate of less than 1 percent and attributes this to intensive testing, detailed product knowledge, and unyielding commitment to quality. Prices: $129 (BV200); $149 (BV300). For more information, visit diamondmm.com.
