Dassault Systemes (DS; Paris, France) announced that its ENOVIA SmarTeam product data management (PDM) solutions have experienced 25 percent growth in the last 12 months, its customer base grew to more than 5,000, an increase of more than 1,000. Much of the growth occurred in Europe and Asia and in a variety of vertical markets, including automotive and high tech industries. ENOVIA SmarTeam users report more effective collaboration between individuals and design teams, as well as time savings as high as 20 percent, eliminating wasteful manual tasks such as searching for and managing technical files. ENOVIA SmarTeam helps customers integrate and manage data and product information while tracking design changes, and at the same time captures best practices, through standardized collaborative design methods that encourage innovation among globally dispersed design and engineering departments.
