EarthLCD (San Juan Capistrano, CA) introduced a new family of color 8-in. LCDs in response to increasing market demand for a small form factor display suitable for a multitude of applications. The new family includes eight models that feature rugged construction, low power, small footprint, and bright TFT color displays with varying mounting and configuration options for product design versatility.
Durable construction combined with what is anticipated to be the most popular and requested size, the new 8-in. displays are suitable for a wide range of applications such as industrial control, retail POS terminals, kiosks, digital signage, security monitoring and others.
Eight available models and a wide selection of configuration options provide optimum product design versatility. Customers can choose from standard or “touch” capability, USB or RS232 Touch Controllers, and VGA/NTSC or VGA only controller options. For flexible mounting, displays can be ordered in kit form, open frame, and with or without enclosure.
All models with enclosures come standard with a panavise mount that allows quick installation and easy display maneuverability at varying angles. Pricing is from $299 to $399, depending on product packaging and configuration.
