Ergotron (St. Paul,  MN) introduced two new products designed to facilitate ergonomic laptop computing — the Neo-Flex Notebook WorkBase, built off the same platform as Ergotron’s Neo-Flex Notebook/Projector Lift Stand, includes a wireless keyboard and mouse for proper arm wrist alignment when typing. Plus, the company has now made available a wireless keyboard and mouse for those who are using a laptop in an elevated position, but do not have the proper data entry equipment.

The Neo-Flex Notebook WorkBase ($99) offers true ergonomic adjustment so computer users can lift and tilt their notebook screen to eye-level for proper viewing comfort. Users get a full desktop computer system,  without sacrificing notebook portability. By placing the notebook screen alongside an existing LCD, users can create an even more productive dual-display configuration.

Using Insta-Link technology, laptop computer users can now connect their laptop to Ergotron’s new wireless keyboard and mouse without syncing. The USB micro-receiver features fast 2.4GHz digital RF for dependable performance with up to 33-ft (10m) working distance between keyboard/mouse and laptop. The 22-in. x 7.2-in. ergonomically designed keyboard has eight multimedia and Internet hotkeys, four of which are programmable. Optical mouse ($59) is 1000 dpi, with five buttons. Total device weight is just 3.1 pounds.
