Exanet (New York) launched ExaStore Clustered NAS 2008, designed to meet the most demanding business needs with its support for petabytes of storage, allowing management of more than 100 billion files in a single name space in a full range of applications and environments.

Exanet’s clustered NAS (network attached storage) solutions, which use the latest Intel Quad Core microprocessors, ExaStore, was selected by Internet service eHarmony, with more than 17 million users, to manage its exponential data growth. Its initial ExaStore system was expanded within less than two months — leveraging ExaStore 2008’s automatic scalability.

ExaStore Clustered NAS 2008 System features scalable capacity and performance, leverages virtualized storage, and offers enterprise-class features.
