FELIXprinters, headquartered near Amsterdam in the Netherlands, is an additive manufacturing / 3D printing company. The company’s range of 3D printers and ancillary products and services provide various capabilities for companies that are integrating 3D printing into their product development and manufacturing workflows.

FELIXprinters has recently expanded its extensive 3D printer portfolio with the new Pro 3 system, which comes with automated and intelligent features. The Pro 3 incorporates automated motorized calibration; a quick-swap print-head solution; fast rotation of print heads in the dual head configuration (less than 10 seconds); and a dedicated flexplate, supplied as standard to easily and quickly remove printed parts.

The Pro 3 also offers quick heat-up and cool-down of the print heads. Overall temperature control has been significantly improved on the Pro 3 together with optimal object cooling with dual high-power blowers.

The Pro 3 also features a new touchscreen module, with integrated print server. It is a small octacore computer, which provides an intuitive user interface, real-time remote webcam monitoring, multi-user control via a web interface, print file management, Wi-Fi and Ethernet connectivity, the ability to render g-codes, and the ability to create a time lapse of the print.

“The Pro 3 has been developed to integrate seamlessly into industrial workflows, whether that is in an office, a workshop, lab or factory environment," Guillaume Feliksdal, founder and director of FELIXprinters, says. "The priority was to deliver a 3D printer that produces optimized print results — every time!”
