Foton Motors Manufacturing India has chosen the Aras Innovator suite for BOM (bill of materials) management, product costing and engineering data management.

With the platform, Foton will coordinate document, BOM, product costing and CAD file management. The company also worked with SteepGraph systems to improve collaboration between product development teams and downstream functions, a press release states.

“We intend to develop an integrated IT architecture for enterprise-wide collaboration where Aras will play an important role. We have sought the help of SteepGraph Systems for their expertise.” said Jagdish Amane, general manager, IT, at Foton Motors India. “The Aras Innovator suite is a flexible platform and will help us extend product data from engineering to downstream operations.”
