FREE WEBINAR DEC. 11: How to Control Induction Heat Problems with Coupled Electromagnetic and Thermal Analysis

November 19, 2025

DATE: December 11, 2025
TIME: 03:00 PM EST/ Noon PST

Induction heating can be an undesirable side effect of strong time-varying magnetic fields.  Avoiding such heating in motors or transformers is important.  It is also commonly used for fast, well-controlled local heat treatment.

For example, strengthening steel parts used in automotive or aerospace applications, or carbide treatment to harden tools tips.

In this webinar attendees will learn how to:

  • Determine temperature distribution at all points within a workpiece
  • Calculate effective resistance and reactance of induction coils
  • Calculate total power requirements for induction heating systems
  • Investigate effects of transient heating and cooling regimes
