TFTLabs has announced support for Dassault Systems' CATIA V5-6R2013 in its TFTWeb, TFTPad, TFT4iT and free JSON3D Gallery products. The products support .CATProduct, .CATPart, .CGR, and .3DXML files.

TFTLabs products work directly on 3D data from all native or generic CAD formats (more than 20 formats) up to their latest revision, the company says.

Within TFTPad, users can interact with 3D models using a touch interface: pinch to zoom, single finger drag to rotate, two finger drag to pan and double tap on the screen to fit all the model. The instant messaging system for 3D allows users to communicate and collaborate on 3D native data on various operating systems and browsers, and create pages together with annotations, dimensions, detailed or exploded views, textual information.
