Gill Sensors & Controls Announces New Range of Condition Monitoring Sensors

By DE Editors

March 20, 2015

Gill Sensors & Controls Limited has launched a new line of GScondition monitoring sensors. The company is known for producing hardware that can operate in hostile environments such as process machinery, construction equipment and heavy duty vehicles.

These sensors can capture and keep ferrous wear and failure particles, detect water in oil contamination and oil presence all in one unit. By combining several common forms of gearbox and transmission failure into one sensor, the company states, users can have a low cost of ownership and a high return-on-investment (ROI).

The technology offers continuous real-time monitoring, is available in either 0-10V, 4-20mA or CAN outputs and can come with a local alarm. Ideal applications for the sensors include dataloggers, PLC's (programmable logic controllers), ECUs and local visual display.
