Infolytica Corporation Releases MotorSolve Electric motor design analysis

New software for electric motor design from Infolytica Corporation (Montreal, Quebec; infolytica.com) is exclusively for brushless DC motor types, such as interior permanent magnet, spoke, and bread-loaf.

Key features of MotorSolve v1.0 include several analysis methods for diverse design stages, a hybrid of classical methods and automated electromagnetic FEA for machine design without requiring any calibration, and an ability to determine the optimal coil-winding layout based on design specifications.
