KISTERS 3DViewStation Launched for Mobile Devices

KISTERS  has announced the support for mobile users in its 3D CAD viewer. The KISTERS 3DViewStation product family is available on multiple mobile devices, including tablets and smartphones.

On tablet devices, users can access the browser-based solution on any platform. If a server renders the geometries, the solution will still work on many systems as long as there is WebGL available.

According to the company, the solution allows users to take advantage of server-side rendering for mobile users, limited bandwidth lines and HTML5-based zero-install clients. Customers can use KISTERS 3DViewStation Desktop or ActiveX products on Windows tablet PCs and work on light-weight or native CAD files.
