Kinetic Machine Development, a custom machinery designer and builder, has announced the opening of a new Regional Design and Build facility in Rochester, NY. This expansion illustrates KMD's commitment to bring local engineering and machinery fabrication services to the Eastern United States, a company press release stated.

KMD specializes in designing and manufacturing custom machinery for automated and semi-automated production.

“This expansion brings a higher level of customer service and responsiveness for KMD customers in the Eastern US," Edward Krasnicki, president of Kinetic Machine Development said. "A Design and Build facility in Rochester, NY puts us closer to our customers for activities such as design, review and project meetings and factory acceptance testing.  With ORMEC company resources at the same location, we are in a unique position to combine this engineering expertise with KMD’s machine building strengths.”
