Knovel,  a Web-based application integrating technical information with analytical and search tools, has announced strong corporate growth and a more than 90 percent subscription renewal rate throughout 2009.

Knovel’s search capabilities, technical information, and interactive tools allow engineers to refresh their existing knowledge base and ramp-up quickly on subjects outside of their expertise, such as sustainability or nanotechnology

Throughout 2009, Knovel improved its graphical user interface and navigation, enhanced data search, introduced Knovel Math, documented and validated Mathcad worksheets for engineering calculations, and launched My Knovel, a personalized space where users can save and organize frequently used content, titles, and searches.

“2009 was a challenging economic environment, yet our annual subscription renewals remain high, so we know that our customers view Knovel as a must-have resource for their engineers,” says Chris Forbes, CEO and president, Knovel. “We’re delighted and proud that our sustained focus on the user over the past 10 years has positioned us for continued success in the new decade.”
