Lightmap Ltd. has announced the launch of the HDR Light Studio Live plug-in for Luxion KeyShot. HDR Light Studio brings a high dynamic range imaging (HDRI) lighting tool-kit directly to KeyShot users allowing them to create custom lighting designs for each shot. According to the company, even existing HDR environments can be augmented to improve the quality of their renders to provide more control over the lighting and reflections.

“Lightmap is really excited to have partnered with Luxion to bring our HDRI lighting toolkit directly inside KeyShot, the cutting edge real-time visualization software. The performance of the two products working together is awesome, with lighting adjustments happening instantly in the real-time KeyShot viewport -- it feels just like a professional photo shoot happening inside your computer. KeyShot and HDR Light Studio are the perfect combination for product designers, engineers and even photographers, for the fast and efficient creation of CGI marketing images of new CAD designs,” said Mark Segasby, CEO of Lightmap Ltd.
